Relentless Youth is an organization that seeks to mature young people in the Lord while developing a sense of mission to those around them who are unsaved or immature in Christ. It is our ultimate goal that all those in our youth group will be or become born-again and filled with the Holy Spirit, with revelation of foundational truths and a readiness to continue to be a functioning part of the church as adults.
Youth Group
Relentless meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm at Living Light Kenosha (6102 39th Ave.). These weekly gatherings often include games, worship, teachings, and small groups, and are open to anyone in 6th – 12th grade (must also be at least 11 years old). In addition to our weekly meetings, we periodically offer special outings, retreats, and other events.
Our meetings usually kick off with fun, organized games. If you want to take a break from games, youth can purchase snacks or drinks in the cafe.
After games, we worship God together. Our times of worship are exuberant and we encourage students to actively participate.
We split our middle school and high school into two groups so that each message is geared towards their stage of life.
Small groups are age and gender specific, and are led by one or two leaders. They are designed to create a space where youth can go deeper in their relationships with friends and leaders, while having fun!
Each year, Relentless offers at least one retreat in the Summer, Winter, or both. Retreats are a great time to get away from the busyness of life and seek God, build new friendship, and make memories to last a lifetime.
About once a quarter, several youth groups in Kenosha—called Allies—meet together as a way to promote unity within the church.
