When people visit one of our churches, the top comment we hear is how impacted they were through experiencing God’s presence. We believe that God’s purpose in gathering His Church together is to meet with us in a profound way. We do not meet just to go through a routine, but rather to commune with God and each other in meaningful and life-changing ways.
Worship
When you visit one of our meetings, you will find a grateful people who deeply love God. We gather together for God and for His pleasure. One way we express this worship is in a time of praising God. We sing, clap, raise our hands, shout, dance, and more in obedience to the Word of God and out of love for Him. We have a contemporary style of music, but style is not as important to us as substance. This is not a concert with a watching audience. We are a people worshiping God together.
Gifts
God declares in scripture that He has graciously given every member of His Body amazing gifts that are to be used for the common good. When you attend one of our meetings, you can expect to see these gifts being expressed. We do not just want to speak to God; we also want to hear from Him through His people. During our meetings, different people come forward and bring prophecies, songs, Scriptures, messages in tongues accompanied by interpretations, and prayers, all for the building up of the church. We always endeavor to practice these gifts in an ordered way for the edification of the church.
Teaching
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and the final authority on all matters pertaining to faith and practice. We know that the Scripture is not a museum of God’s past words, but a living and active declaration of what God is still saying. When we meet, we spend time together listening to His Word through teaching and preaching. You can expect to hear the Bible opened up in ways that are faithful to its meaning and relevant to your life.
Children and Youth
We are so grateful for children and know that they are a blessing from God. At our meetings, we desire to reach the hearts of the children as much as we do the adults. We sing together as families in worship to God. Following that time, the children go to classes specifically designed for them and appropriate to their age. We have been blessed with many gifted teachers who take the foundational truths of the Bible and connect them to the hearts of our children. Their times together are fun times of learning and growing.
Fellowship
As well as loving God, we love each other. Though we come from different backgrounds, ethnicities and even nations, we know that God has joined us together through the sacrificial work of Christ. The Gospel has made us a people, not just saved individuals. When we come together, we want to grow in relationship with God and each other. We often break in the middle of our meetings or at different times to give space for people to talk and connect. We also meet throughout the week in small groups.
